How to make it

Prep the oven

Preheat the oven to 425F. Line a muffin tin with papers.

Mix the dry ingredients

Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Whisk and set aside.

Mix the wet ingredients

In another bowl whisk together eggs, vanilla, vegetable oil, sour cream, and milk.

Add the chocolate

Set aside one third cup chocolate chips for topping. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry. Fold gently until almost combined. Add the remaining chocolate chips. Mix until just combined.

Fill and bake

Fill each muffin paper to the top. Sprinkle the reserved chocolate chips on top. Bake at 425F for 6 minutes. Reduce the heat to 350F and bake for about 14 more minutes. The centers should be set and a toothpick should come out clean. Enjoy your soft, rich, chocolate loaded muffins.
