Crispy & soft Festival in your mouth Sour spicy goodness

Description

Tikki chaat is that sour spicy goodness that hits every corner of your soul. It is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and the toppings make it taste like a festival in your mouth. Let us get started.

How to make it

01

Make the filling

Boil 3 potatoes and mash them. Add green chillies, crushed ginger, and diced onion. Heat mustard oil in a pan. When you see fumes, add 2 teaspoons methi. Add 1 tablespoon cumin. Add 1 teaspoon turmeric. Pour this hot oil mix into the potato mixture. Add 1 tablespoon salt and half tablespoon green chilli powder. Mix everything well. Your filling is ready.

02

Shape the tikki

Take some filling and roll it into small balls. Flatten each ball gently with your fingers to form a tikki.

03

Fry the tikki

Heat your pan. Add 1 tablespoon oil. When the oil is hot, sprinkle 1 teaspoon kasturi methi and half teaspoon cumin. Place your potato tikkis on top. Fry until golden brown and crispy on both sides.

04

Add toppings and serve

Place your hot tikkis on a plate. Drizzle tamarind sauce on top. Add some sour yogurt. Sprinkle chaat masala. Garnish with coriander. Enjoy your sour goodness.
